Mary Ann Rogers Lamberth
Mary Ann Rogers Lamberth is the Assistant Principal at Virginia Heard Elementary School, where she has served since 2021. She played a pivotal role in the leadership team during Heard's designation as the region’s first Georgia Department of Education STEAM-certified public PreK-5 school and its recognition as an ARTSNow leadership school. Prior to joining Heard, Lamberth taught Film@STEM at The STEM Academy at Bartlett, where she chaired the Apps department and communications team. Under her leadership, the school earned several prestigious recognitions, including Georgia Department of Education STEAM certification, the Future of Education Technology’s Conference STEM Excellence Award, and distinctions as an Apple Distinguished School and a Lighthouse School to Watch.
Lamberth brings extensive experience from both rural and urban Title I schools, specializing in technology integration, STEM/STEAM learning, and problem-based instruction. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations in 2006 and her Master of Arts in Teaching in 2009, both from Georgia Southern University, where she was involved in leadership roles with the Student Government Association, Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, and Omicron Delta Kappa honor society.
A proud "Gator Mom," Lamberth's family is deeply connected to Heard Elementary. Her husband, Trey, a PGA golf professional, and their daughter, Amelia, a kindergartner at Heard, are part of the Gator family.
